Welcome to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Department!

The City of Sturgis created the Sturgis Rally Department in 2002 to better serve our Rally visitors and exhibitors. The Sturgis Rally Department oversees the event; manages public relations, media, marketing and promotions, and city property rentals; and provides information to the public.

The Sturgis Rally Department is committed to making the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally a positive experience for our hundreds of thousands of guests who attend each August, as well as for the citizens of Sturgis.
