| PUBLIC WORKS - WASTE WATER DEPARTMENT
Wastewater Operations
The camera van is used in the daily operations of the Wastewater Department and is a valuable asset in that it is used in the inspection of all the sewer mains in the City to determine the condition of the lines, such as cracks, broken lines, blockages or collapsed lines, as well as locating sewer taps. The camera van then records the information on a VHS cassette tape, the Wastewater personnel can view this information. The camera is capable of going through 8" lines up to 24" lines.
The Vactor truck is used every spring and every fall to clean the sewer mains in the City. It is also used to eliminate any blockages in the lines.

Irrigation
We have four Rain Reels used for irrigation; these Rain Reels are capable of distributing 800+ gallons of water per minute, per gun.
This is applied as a spray and used to irrigate the City property located East of the City on Highway 79.
The Rain Reels are all computerized, and can be set to come in from a run at a certain time. The Rain Reels can be pulled out as far as 1000 ft.
