Reservations
Shelters can be reserved in advance for picnics or family reunions. We only accept reservations made for the current year. A key / clean-up deposit of $20 is required at the time the key is picked up and reimbursed when key is returned and the facility passes inspection. There is no fee for using the shelters, but donations are appreciated and help pay for the continual upkeep of our facilities.

To reserve a park shelter, contact the City Finance Office at (605) 347-4422 or download the Park Shelter Reservation Request form and Fax to 605-347-4861.  You may also make your request on-line.  Once your request has been received, someone from the Finance Office will contact you with availability information.

		Lions Club Park Gazebo The Lions Club Park Gazebo can seat about 90 people at 15 tables. Amenities include electricity, sink / water, restrooms, a refrigerator, and small charcoal grills.  Location East Lazelle St. Reservation is required
		Lions Club Park Shelter The Lions Club Park Shelter is an open shelter with seating for 30. There are no amenities at this shelter, but a small playground is adjacent. Location East Lazelle St. Reservation Information Currently this shelter is not on a reservation basis.
		Old Stone Shelter The Old Stone Shelter is an open shelter with electricity and seating area for 50 people. Project Playground is within sight of this shelter. Location City Municipal Park Reservation Information Currently this shelter is not on a reservation basis.
		Stock Shelter Stock Shelter is an open shelter with a kitchenette area (sink, counter, electricity) and seating area for 50 people. Restroom facilities are attached. Project Playground is within sight of this shelter. Location City Municipal Park Reservation is required
		Woodland Shelter Woodland Shelter is an open shelter with a kitchenette area (refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, electricity) and seating area for 150 people. A patio area with permanent charcoal grills and restroom facilities are attached. A small playground is next to this shelter. Location Woodland Park Reservation is required
