Help us make 'Sturgis for the Holidays' a spectacular event!

Plan to bring your family and friends to all the great events taking place in downtown Sturgis this holiday season.  A full schedule of events is listed at the bottom of this page.

Here are a few things you won't want to miss:

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at H-D Rally Point on December 3 starting at 6:00 PM.  The Mayor will read a classic Christmas story and there will be music, treats, and a special appearance by Santa.

Holiday Light Parade - Friday, December 4 starting at 6:00 PM.  The parade will travel from the south end of Junction going north and then left on Main Street. 

Join us at H-D Rally Point on December 5th for Holiday Crafts for kids and adults, a visit from Santa, and Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides!  The fun begins at 3 pm and will wrap-up at 5 PM. 

Variety Show at Harley-Davidson Rally Point Plaza on December 12. Canceled

Added: Kids Crafts - Round 2 will take place from 1 until 3 PM on Saturday, December 19 at H-D Rally Point Plaza.  Stick around for the Ugly Sweater Contest starting at 5 PM. 

Free Christmas Movies will be shown at the Community Center Theater on Fridays at 7 PM & Saturdays at 1 PM from December 4 - 26.  See the schedule posted below.  

Hop on the Booze 'N' Cruise Bus at H-D Rally Point from 5 - 8 PM on Saturday, December 19 for a free tour of the brightest light displays in town.  Or, if you prefer, load up the kids for a casual family drive December 14 - 25.  The Chamber will have the official contestant map available starting on December 14.  The holiday lighting contest will offer prizes for the best displays in residential and commercial categories.  Contact the Sturgis Chamber at 347-2556 to get your address included on the map.  

Spend time with your friends at the Downtown Christmas Markets - There are two locations packed wall to wall with local businesses, crafters, artists, and area producers.  We know you will be excited to see the large variety of locally produced merchandise available at the markets. 
The Downtown Christmas Markets are located at 920 Harley-Davidson Way (across from the H-D Plaza) and 1032 Main Street.
Hours:  Fridays 5 - 8 PM, Saturdays 10 AM - 6 PM, Sundays 12 PM - 4 PM.  Beginning November 27 and open each weekend through December 20.  We will also be open from 4 until 7 PM on December 17 for SCROOGE NIGHT!
