The 5th Running of the world-famous transcontinental endurance run for vintage motorcycles will start on September 7 in Portland Maine.  The race will end 16-days later in Portland, Oregon.

The Cannonball Run is known as the most difficult antique motorcycle run in the world.  Entries from six countries will take part in this year's event.

The riders will take their day of rest on September 16 in Sturgis at Harley-Davidson Rally Point.  The public is invited to stop by to meet the riders and ask questions.    More details including times will be posted at a later date.  Follow the race at www.motorcyclecannonball.com .
