Salary range: $18.25 to $27.19 DOQE.

Hours: Full-time (40 hours a week), non-exempt with limited overtime opportunities. Eligible for benefits.
Job Description:
Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and wastewater pumping facilities, to include checking completed work for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results. This position collects and processes water samples as well as monitors flow and tank levels. The position keeps all operational records and also performs preventive maintenance and repairs on the wastewater treatment plant.

- Two years of experience in a wastewater treatment facility as an operator (preferred)
- Must be able to obtain Class A CDL and the SD DANR wastewater treatment certifications within timeline
