Salary range: $22.00-$26.00 DOQE

Hours: Full-time (40 hours a week), non-exempt with limited overtime opportunities. Eligible for benefits.

Job Description:

The Equipment Mechanic is responsible for a full range of servicing, repairing and
maintaining both heavy equipment and light duty equipment (heavy duty trucks,
material spreaders, excavators, skidders, backhoes, high pressure pumps,
bulldozers, graders, blades, dump bodies, snowplows, trailers, street sweepers,
and other city equipment and vehicles) as directed by the Fleet Maintenance Superintendent.

$22.00-$26.00 starting wage DOQE

Work experience with engines and heavy equipment repair and maintenance required

Preventive maintenance work only (e.g., changing oil, lubing, or removing and replacing
parts) may not be considered qualifying experience.

Experience in welding and fabrication, preferred
