Job Title: Rally Overnight Night Security

Salary range: $15.00 per hour, eligible for overtime

Job Description:

The Sturgis Police Department has overnight Rally security openings.  The positions are non-law enforcement, civilian security officers.  Work shifts are 12 hour, overnight.  Shift length varies from ten to fourteen days.  Security employees serve as the "eyes and ears" of the Police Department on designated City property, providing surveillance and security to vendor booths and exhibitor space.  In the case of an incident, Security employees contact the Sturgis Police Department who responds and take control of the situation.  Security staff do not have arrest powers and are unarmed.  Must be at least 18 years of age and able to use a radio and cell phone.  Must be able to work outdoors.
