STURGIS - The City of Sturgis Events Department is sponsoring the Sturgis Leprechaun Hunt.

The scavenger hunt, which features $300 in prizes, is scheduled March 14 to March 17.

You can pick up your passport to the “Hunt” at the Sturgis Public Library, 1040 Harley-Davidson Way, during their regular business hours. 

City staff will provide leprechaun bears for 35 area businesses who will hide them somewhere in the public area of their business. 

Customers who have completed their passport have a chance at a prize when eight participating businesses sign their passport. All entries will be entered into a drawing for the $300 in prizes. 

It begins Thursday, March 14, when participants can pick up their passport at Sturgis Public Library. Participants must turn in their passport by 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17 at Sturgis Liquor, 1075 Lazelle St.

Three winners will be drawn on Monday, March 18 and will then be notified.
