During the annual Sturgis Art Festival on Saturday, June 6, the Downtown Sturgis Foundation will be hosting a Sturgis ArtWalk Unveiling Ceremony. This year, six new sculptures will be added to city street corners.
Mark Bruch, President of the Downtown Sturgis Foundation will lead the ArtWalk and share information about each artist and artwork during the unveiling. The Unveiling Ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday under the main stage at Harley-Davidson Rally Point.
The Sturgis ArtWalk is comprised of 30+ original statues, sculptures, murals and monuments located across town, created by various artists with a wide array of styles. Viewers can walk or drive from piece to piece on a self-guided art tour and explore the variety of art and culture on display in Sturgis. Tour maps are available year-round at the Sturgis Welcome Center.
The event is organized by the Downtown Sturgis Foundation, a nonprofit managed by local city and business leaders. Their goal is to preserve current businesses and support new downtown developments to build a strong, lively, and engaged community. This year, the Foundation will unveil artworks by Christine Knapp, Tom Ford, Bobbie Carlyle and Lorri Acott. All sculptures are available for sale. The 2026 Sturgis ArtWalk sponsors include: Downtown Sturgis Foundation, Greater Sturgis Foundation, Sturgis Area Arts Council and the City of Sturgis.
