  • Trees
  • Tree branches

Other Construction Wastes - Non-Burnable
  • Asphaltic or fiberglass shingles
  • Insulation, cardboard
  • Plastic
  • Styrofoam
  • Foam rubber
  • Painted wood
  • Other packaging material
Miscellaneous Wastes
  • Furniture
  • Mattresses
  • Similar wastes



White Goods

  • Refrigerators*
  • Freezers*
  • Washers
  • Dryers
  • Stoves
  • Water heaters
  • Other recyclable scrap metals (no fuel tanks)

Other
  • Ash
  • Lead-acid batteries
  • Scrap Tires (fee applies, see Fee Schedule for details)


EPA Forms for White Goods
EPA forms will have to be filled out for white goods.  The EPA form is available here or can be picked up at the Public Works Office or Rubble Site.

*Freon needs to be drained from refrigerators, freezers, etc. before we will accept them.  Please attach an EPA form ensuring the freon has been removed.

Wastes Not Listed
Other wastes not listed above may be approved by DENR Waste Management Program on a case by case basis. Rubble Site Permit from SD DENR.
