Mayor Rod Bradley has announced the appointment of Council Representatives and City Staff to serve on various boards and committees. 

Board and Organizational Appointments

  • Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce: Ruth Nichols
  • Sturgis Economic Development Corporation (SEDC): Jim Thompson
  • Transportation Advisory Board: Geody VanDewater
  • Sturgis Motorcycle Museum: Lance Scherer
  • Sturgis Rally Charities: Terry Keszler
  • Sturgis Senior Center: Jim Thompson
  • Black Hills Council of Local Governments: Rod Bradley
  • Prairie Hills Transit: Rod Bradley
  • Planning & Zoning Commission: Tony Dargatz
  • Parks Board: Mark Chaplin
  • Municipal Utility Board (MUB): Terry Keszler
  • Library Board: Terry Keszler
  • Business Improvement District (BID) Board: Alex Usera
  • Hotel Business Improvement District (HBID) Board: Jim Thompson

Council Working Sub-Committees 
The City Council has also established various working sub-committees. The maximum number of Council representatives at any one meeting is four.
The following Committee appointments are currently in place for 2025-2026:

Rally & Events Committee: Councilman Terry Jensen, Councilman Alex Usera, Councilwoman Ruth Nichols and Council President Tony Dargatz
