Police Volunteers

The Sturgis Police Department has two different volunteer groups that serve our department and community.

Reserve Officers are state-certified, sworn, law enforcement officers that perform the same duties as full-time officers.

VIPS, Volunteers in Public Safety , are citizen volunteers that assist with a wide variety of department duties.
