Overview:
The Municipal Utility Board governs the Sturgis Water Department. The Mayor of the City of Sturgis appoints the three-person board on staggered six-year terms. The MUB has taken a progressive approach to provide water service to the City. Since its inception in 1979, they have completed numerous projects to keep up with the development of the City.

The Water Department's long-range plan is a continuation of this progressive approach to providing top quality water service to the Sturgis community.
