Responsibilities
The Parks Department is responsible for maintaining over 100 acres of park/recreation property (including property located at Fort Meade). We work with many sports groups to ensure the use of the recreation areas and help many organizations set up for special events during the year.

The City of Sturgis partners with many groups to offer over 20 miles of recreational trails in and around the city. Some trails are perfect for an afternoon stroll while others can be an all-day adventure.
